To The Bone, Josh's fourth release, features some of Melbourne's most exciting young improvising musicians. Their rapport and history together is clear. What I like about this band is how it's members intersect so many worlds within the diverse musical fabric of the Melbourne scene.

The front line is absolutely fierce, both as a section and as soloists. Bennier has such an expressive scope on his unique instrument. He continues to find more ways of playing, and I can't wait to hear/borrow them well into the future.
